Our kids are doing fantastic. I wish I was as resilient as they are! I’ll be writing more when the days allow it, in the meantime I’m busy orienting nurses to our home (and Calvin) and homeschooling. Thanks for staying around…hope to be back soon.

It is good to have you back Kara–was wondering how Calvin was doing and the family adjusting to all the new sights and sounds of his care. The kids are beautiful and look oh so happy!. Thanks you for keeping up your wonderful bolg! God Bless.
Hi! I'm Kara, the official scribbler in this space. Life is filled with extraordinary heartbreak and joy. I like to write about it and faith lessons learned along the way.
Beauty from Ashes
When your dreams shatter beyond recognition there is every reason to hope in God. Listen in to Kara speaking about this: Beauty from Ashes.
This is the man of my life, Darryl. He may be quiet but life with him is not! Life is blessed and surprising by his side.
Darryl and I have been blessed with four kids — Sophie, Noah, Evelyn, and Calvin. Our youngest son, Calvin, has special needs. To read more about him see "Calvin's Story" above.

We are praying for you all Kara! This picture is beautiful!
You are being remembered often in prayer here, Kara, even without regular updates ….
